Fetal Heart Dopplers

Hello Ladies,

Im curious as to how many of you have these? How they work and if they are safe??
For those who dont know its a doppler you can use at home to hear baby's heartbeat, hiccups, and movement.
I really want one, and wanted yalls opinions??

I've got one that I bought from Target. I haven't been able to hear the baby's heartbeat with it yet (it recommends being 21 weeks and I'm only 1 , but I can hear my heartbeat and I can hear the baby kick it, so I'm pretty sure it will work fine. It was only $20 if you don't want to spend over $100 on a doppler.

Ooh! I'm part of the December Mommies forum (which rocks! you should come check us out!) and LOTS of the women on there have purchased dopplers (at least 4 or 5 I can think of)....pop on over and ask them if you want!  

I bought one and I am 17 weeks tomorrow.
I have had it since about 13 weeks and I bought mine on ebay. I can hear the heartbeat ever since I got it and I love it!
I also bought one from wal-mart and it's awful.

I got a medical grade doppler from hibebe.org it worked really good I loved it.

My parents got us one from Babies R Us and although we have trouble getting her heartbeat we definitely hear her kicks (although I dont need a doppler to feel those lol). It's pretty neat and my dr said they're totally safe

I bought a cheaper one and it hasnt worked yet! I rented one and it works fantastic! I love it! It makes me so comfortable knowing my little girl is okay. It cost me $60 for three months and some sites have them cheaper. LOL I actually have had it two months longer than I paid for and it wont cost me any more!

go to babybeat.com and rent one. its cheaper and they are excellent plus they come with u/s goo and are able to record the heartbeat. ive had one since 11 wks and am just now returning it. i loved it. it also helped josh my hubby get closer to the baby.

Definately rent one. No need to buy one unless you are going to have many babies!!DONT BUY A CHEAP ONE!!

Im 14 weels and feel nothign, Im just fat lol...and my husband is going away for school for 7 weeks so i wanted something to keep me entertained and to know my baby is doing good

agreeed, i bought that stupid one from babies r us and i didnt here shit. lol babybeat is my recommendation. for real yo lmao

id recommend babybeat.com too! i rented one from there and had it for three months and it was AWESOME! i wish i still had it! and it wasnt expensive. i was totally happy with them and their serivce!
