did it work for you?

So tomorrow's my due date   I haven't been making that much progress so my doctor and I have decided to attempt to strip my membranes tomorrow. If you had that done did it work for you? If so, how long after you had it done did it work?

Worked for me twice!! First time I had it done at 8am deliver the next day at 7pm. Second baby I had it done at 2-3pm and delivered the next day at noon! LABOR DUST to you!!

I had mine stripped 3 times and it didn't do anything... I was 1cm and 50% effaced the first 2 times and the last time i was 2 cm and 80% effaced and it still didn't do crap! It only works about 50% of the time and the further dilated and effaced you are the better the chance... good luck tho!

**edited: this was all for 1 pregnancy.. i got stripped once at 39, and twice during my 40th week.. i didn't deliver until 7 days past my due date

Yes! I was dilated to 2. The dr stripped my membrane, and labor started 11:00pm that night! Good luck!
