Quoting lilmama68:“ yea it would be that easy if i lived with my husband on base. but hes three hours away so its not that ... [snip!] ... then i would have already missed my doctors apt.and would be a month behind in apts and i have already missed my glucose test.”
Quoting *Leilani Jade's* Mommy:“ My husband just went in to basic training and im went thru what your going thru... i recieved my DEERs ... [snip!] ... and have to pay a co pay... hope you get everything sorted out ASAP i missed my appt this month too because of this crap...”
Quoting Cowgirl47429:“ Standard can be seen on base as well. Just because you are on standard that doesnt mean you automatically ... [snip!] ... preterm labor when I was pregnant with him I was sent off base. Its not 100% certain you will be seen on base 100% of the time.”
Quoting lilmama68:“ okay well my husband was going to sign me up and all that for my insurance today. he talked to someone ... [snip!] ... already missed my 6 month apt. so can someone tell me something to reasure me that im not going to have to wait even longer!!”It took me awhile to get the story straight and signed up. I missed my 6 month appt. too! Finally my hubby & I had to go to the medical center on base to sign up, we both had papers to sign. I brought our marriage license but didn't need it. The only thing is, that in order for me to see a doctor I had to go to a primary care doctor first and get a referral to an OBGYN. So your appt. you made might not even work. The good news is, once you sign that paper your covered so its just a matter of getting the referral. Good luck.
