Anybody wanna just talk? :)

I am sitting here timing contractions hoping to God this is the real thing bc if it isn't there is a steamroller coming out of my nether-region, which is a wee bit painful and I could use a little distraction.... Anyone up for distracting me? LOL

How far apart are the contractions?

So far abt 5 mins... They got painful enough to wake me up is what the biggest thing was. I have had semi regular contractions for weeks now, but none this bad...

You probably know this but try drinking some water, eat a little and see if they go away. Oh, I miss being pregnant...(still no burp from my little nugget)..

why are u even questioning it? ive been getting contractions (hard ones) about every 15-20 minutes.

Yeah, not going away... I am due today, had my membranes stripped yesterday and was at 3cm/80% when she did that, so it might be real... I have just had such a miserable exp this time around I am paranoid about a wasted trip.

Bc I have had contractions for like 3 weeks now and keep getting sent home under the direction of my worthless midwife (who told me to come in in the first place) bc they were not good enough for her, I was not dilating enough, or w/e. I am not going in to be sent home.

Ive been getting contractions for about 3 weeks now too! its frustrating. they tell me to wait til they are regulated and they never are. tonight they seem stronger though...

Well, when they strip your membranes they basically scrape your cervix, so it could conceivably cause you to lose your plug if you have not yet. I am just wondering if its worth aking my husband up for or not. LOL He'll be pissed if I do and its nothing.   Hell, I'll be pissed if I do and its nothing.  

i was told a million times that if they are every 5 minutes for an hour, to GO IN! id probably go if they were every 5 minutes for a half hour....

how long have u been timing? and are they getting more intense than what youve had in the recent weeks

Yeah, they are much stronger than before and I have been timing for about 30 mins. I keep getting told to wait until I cannot talk through them. Which is effin ridiculous bc a) this is my THIRD by the time I cannot talk through them I will probly be fully dilated and b) my IDEA of pain and theirs may be entirely dif. I know it is bc I know I am a wuss LOL

Ive heard that too.. i wouldnt wait til then. thats rediculas and like u said what if you have a high pain tollerance?

if your really that worried about going in prematurely just wait out the whole hour... if they are still timing right, go in...no one can get mad at you for that.
