wanting to have a big baby

posted 24th Jun
I was wondering this might sound kind of dumb but I wanted to know if their are any foods that will make you have a big healthy baby. Not like a huge baby but just not a premature baby. I've been asking people but they dont reallly give me an answer...does anyone know what kinds of foods I can eat so I'll have a healthy big baby??
Oh and I'm 30 weeks preg and my stomach is not that big at all...I could wear a sweater or big tshirt and no one would notice...i actually showing at about 6 1/2 months?? does that mean I have a small baby or just a small stomach?? becuase thats what I'm worried about...becuaseI have a small stomach my baby will be small.

The baby will most likely only be small if it's premature. If you give birth around your due date the baby will be a healthy size from 6 - 9 pounds on average. Unless you smoked or something during pregnancy...that could cause low birth weight. As long as your baby's not born prematurely, it should be a healthy size.

i am 37 weeks and some days and just started to really show a few weeks ago and my baby is normal healthy size probably going to be about 7 lbs.. how you look during pregnancy isn't always an exact idea of how big the baby will be.. if you keep yourself healthy and have your baby as close to your due date as possible your baby will be a normal healthy baby... it is really only when you go early that you have to worry about tiny babies they are called premature because they were born before the mature gestational age so stay healthy eat good healthy foods.. chicken, banana's potatoes, other fruits and veggies and all that jazz.. and you will have a normal healthy baby

I was barely showing until 35weeks, up until then I could hide it no problem if I wanted to lol Kaleb was born a healthy 7lbs 2oz snd 20in long. They say the average baby is 7lbs 8oz... you wouldnt guess I had a baby that size by how big I looked! Im also not that tall, 5'4

i dont know about what foos you could eat... but you can carry your baby in your back which is what i did... making it look as though i was smaller than i should have been...i looked like 7 months when i had my baby...my doc would say she would be 6 lbs...she ended up being 8.7

My stomach stayed really small with all of mine but it is just because of how my body carries babies.   Mine on average weighed in at about 7lbs.

Ditto on the small babies can be healthy too! I was 5lbs 14oz, and healthy as an ox! Plus when your babies smaller, you get to enjoy those tiny moments longer. Kaleb grew too quick and he wasnt a tiny baby for long
