Father to be :D

I am expecting my baby girl to be born on the 25th of oct with my beautiful GF mikayla i never thought i would be a father but i am so proud that its with er but im also really afraid of what may be i know with her by my side i cant mess up, but i have a question for the fathers and father to be out there'

were you/are you afraid to be a father,?

I don't think we have a lot of guys on here , i only know one (nick) .

I'm a mother not a father but I can tell you that women are nervous and scared about being a parent too!! I was soo nervous always thinkings am I gonna know what to do? But once the baby gets here it just comes naturally. Try not to worry, you will know what to do when the time comes, it'll just come natural to you. Good luck!! I can tell you're gonna be a great daddy!

I agree! Very sweet thing to do. I think many fathers are scared and nervous especially when it gets closer to the due date. It's normal just know you will do a great job especially since you are posting and asking questions! And there are not many guys on here. I haven't seen a guy post in months. But us ladies are here to answer any questions!

wow your like the second guy ive seen on here theyre really arent that many
eric was very scared at first but he warmed up to it very quickly and he talks to my belly everyday now oh and congragulations(sp?) on being a father

there are only a few guys running around....

anyways...im not a father but i know that my hubby was terrified of being a father. he still is. he has been asking me for weeks when wed get to the point where tobi could be born and survive....he also was so scared that at about 10 weeks he almost ruined our relationship because of it. but we talked and things are excellent now. evyerone is scared to be a parent...even the ones that tried to become parents. youll do great.

well, i'm not a father but i can see if my boyfriend will reply when he gets back.

haha now that im full term eric want his baby out and is all like letsd have sex to induce labor ill rub you nipples (tmi) etc sometimes i think hes more impatient than me

LOl sounds like my bf when I was pregnant. He was always talking to the baby in my belly and rubbing even when we were out in public. Once the baby was born I could tell he was alittle scared but very happy. He woudln't bathe the baby or do things he thought may hurt him. But 8 months later he is the best daddy ever!

My wife wanted me to answer this one (obviously this is her account). Anyway, when I first found out I was a bit scared, I just didn't want to mess up this little child's life. As time went on I started to get more and more confident that I would be a good father to the child, and I started to be less scared. While I am still a little bit scared, and I think that I will be ready when the time finally comes. I'm sure you will find that it gets less scary as time goes on.

Hmm you know what at first i was really scared....but after my lil boy was born it all came kinda natural. once you see you baby for the first time, you will completely fall in love. i was the first to hold him and it was just natural, and i haven't held a newborn baby before. it will all come natural, trust me.

He's so excited for our little girl to get here. He wants to feel her kick so bad, but unfortunately we havent felt her from the outside yet.

Oh and thanks heaps to all the ladies who got their partners to answer. It will really put his mind at easy knowing he isnt the only one who was nervous/scared.

Thank you all for your kind words, i hope that you will all understand if i ask n00bi3 questions about babys and stuff because i honestly have no i dea what to do Lol i mean im so afraid of hold my baby when she is born im scared i might damege here neck and make her paralized im so scared that when i feed her ill put to much food on the spoon and she may choak im just terrifide but as Tim did say it should all come naturally and i hope it does and i DONT!!! run away like my father did.....
