Just curious of everybodys opinions....

Hey everyone  
I was wondering what percentage of pregnancy from intercourse 3 days before ovulation everybody thinks? I guess I'm not really sure! I mean I get different information everywhere I go and ask! Most commonly I get that sperm lives up to 5 days. What do you all think about intercourse AFTER ovulation. My doctor reccomended 2 days before, the day of, and two days after. Just curious

Yes and no.
Not trying as much as I'd like, but not really preventing either  

We BD 2 days after I finish my period and then we BD every 2nd day until CD13. On CD13, CD14, CD15 we BD and then after that back to every 2nd day until AF shows her ugly head.
We had one doctor reccomend every 2nd dayduring CD10-CD20 but I like to always make sure those guys are in there lol.

this month we actually "tried' it was 3 days before expected ovulation and 2 days after. Usually we are too busy and just forget  

On the website twoweekwait there was a topic about this and a woman asked all the women who got their BFP's if they only had sex 3 or 2 days before O and still got their BFP's you's be suprised how many replied and said they did. I have sex every other day around O instead of everyday, but I heard you should have sex depending on your husbands sperm count if it's high then everyday when you have fertile CM and the one day after O, but if he has a low sperm count have sex every other day but make sure one of those days land on O dayif one of those days don't land on O day then have sex anyways on O day, me and my fiance don't know his sperm count so we just have sex everyother day anyways lol Hope I helped.

lol yeah i seen other stuff pretty much the same! i guess i'm just not lucky to get preg that easy! we haven't used protection in 3 years! but usually have sex 4 to 6 times a week, but sometimes spermy's don't get in the right spot! haha if u know what i mean... TMI i know

My last cycle was 29 days. I am assuming this will be about the same.
I have had some problems so have not had a normal cycle in a very long time so I am actually unsure for how long it normally goes. Last month was my first "normal" cycle in months and that was because I had a D&C among other things.

yeah mine has been pretty regular for awhile sometimes i like to think i know how to do this right... and other times i just get wayyy to confused! but it is pretty amazing how complicated this all is and how many people get the timing just right!

My mum has recently started going to appointment with me and she is absolutley amazed at how many people get pregnant after a one night stand.
She never knew how much goes into getting it right because she fell pregnant very easily, she was even on the pill when she had me lol.
