Labor Induction!!!

ok, so i am going in tomorrow to start the process of inducing labor..i have to go twice a day for two days to get a prostaglandin gel put on my cervix to get things dialiating.. and then on thursday im set up fora pit -drip......

has anyone else used the gel?? what did it feel like?

and how about the pit drip?? i've heard the contractions are alot stronger&& more painful

umm.. and last question, how long do they make you wait for the epi if you get induced?

I was just induced last week also and it took 3 trys till he finally came but for me the gel worked best.. I had cervadil put in also and that didn't work much so they did the gel and that got things going better.. the gel gave me mild contractions but the pit drip gave me horrendous contractions the 3rd time around but they gave me an epidural when I couldn't take the pain anymore and I was only 4 cm but because of the pitocin the contractions were intense and close together.. but it depends on the person and you cervix because the first 2 times I was induced nothing happened I would get contractions for an hour and then it would stop.. but good luck and hang in there
