mom is that you?

The older I get the crazier I get. I swear that I am turning into my mother. I find myself saying and doing things that I swore as a kid I would never do or say. The worst thing that my mom used to say was "Do you want a reason to cry? Cuz I'll give you a reason to cry!" She would say it all the time and i just knew that it made no sense, i had a damn reason to cry you just spanked me, or yelled at me. But ladies, everyday I say that to at least one of my kids. Then today, I actually said it to a teenager that I work with. She is a whiney 16 year old and I couldn't take it anymore.
Some moreof mom's favs that I use now.."Just wait until your father gets home!" "Because I said so, that's why!"
So how about you ladies? Any of you using moms phrases on your own kids or am I the only one?

My mom always told me "I brought you into this world, I can take you out!"

I know I am going to end up saying that one...

I actually used that on my 7 year old the other day. It's not so effective on my step daughter she just looked at me like I'm a dumba$$ and said no you didn't and no you can't. Oh yeah sometimes I forget the minor details. 

hehe, I can't ( off the top of my head) think of anyone phrase that I use of my Mom's but I do act just like her.

My FIL used to say " Touch that and I'll break your arm off and beat you with the wet end".......I guess it's a really old saying but it cracked me up when I first heard it... way to scar a kid LOL...
I do find myself turing into my mom   but thats okay b/c she's fantastic

Haha, my ex stepmom said that to me once too, and I was like, "Uhm, no you didn't. The most you can do is not give me lunch money, and I'll just bug you til I get it  " My mom still says that to me, so I just tell her "I'll believe it when I see it!"

I love my momma, I am totally cool with turning into her, haha.
