One Step Closer

Angelina, like Malia, was advanced to every other feed by bottle today. I actually got to feed her by bottle last night! I was so happy I almost cried, God I've done a lot of crying lately. They said I can try to breastfeed her tomorrow at her 11:30 feeding. Hopefully all goes well. I am just so happy, this means we are one step closer to her going home. If she keeps up the good work, she may be home on the weekend!

She was just advanced today to nipple, nipple, gavage! I even got to breast feed her and she went a whole 40 minutes and did great! The nurses were shocked. She took the breast better than the bottle. Also, when I went in, she was in one of those small bassinets and moved to the far end of the NICU. She is so close to being home!

That is so exciting! I hope she continues to thrive and do well. Such great news about the breastfeeding! I pray that she will always take to it so well. Best of luck and best wishes to you and your family.
