Anyone else noticed a ridiculous amount of false positives

Whats with that? I know some are the $ tree sticks but myself included had other brands mine was EPT digital.... wierd

reasons you might get a false positive:

use of drugs containing the assay molecule (in this case hCG), and non-pregnant production of the assay molecule-- if you're doing some sort of fertility treatment.

evaporation lines may appear on many home pregnancy tests if read after the suggested 3–5 minute window or reaction time, independent of an actual pregnancy.

false positives may also appear on tests used past their expiration date.

in general, you can't get a false positive otherwise, since it's testing for the presence of hCG-- which you won't have in your system if you're not preggers.

*also the $ tree tests. Are you sure there was no possibility of you being pregnant? Did you have a blood test? If so, how long after the digi did you have it done?

My experience was: 10:30pm I took the ept test it was positive, 9:00 am (next morning) I got a blood test it was negative. I though mine was due to HCG leveling still high from MC, but doc said they here at 0. Weird?!?  I think in the last week like 3 of us have had FPs.
