Pain and confusion? Why? Because I wanted him to have the best life possible..and he'll know that? I'm not being defensive..I'm just trying to understand. I disagree 100%. There would be pain and confusion if I gave him away..and didn't have a part in his life. With an open adoption..there is only more love and happiness. It's OPEN..so there will be no confusion.

Like I said before that is YOUR opinioin and I have my own opinion base from knowlegde so, I disargee with your statement 100%but you have only lived with this sitution for 3 years so you don't really know how it willeffect everyone, so honestly youdon't know how it will be.

Ok..so what is your expert knowledge? Have you put up a child for adoption? And how do you disagree 100% when you don't know a thing about ityourself? All I'm asking is HOW WILL IT CAUSE PAIN AND CONFUSION if he knows the truth the whole time?

First of all I am adopted, secondly just because he has the informationmean anything at all. And last but not least I don't have to justify my opinion to you. Since you know all you shouldn't worry about it right. So in 10 years let me know howyou feel, how the child feels and the other mother feels. Also you don't know how it will turn out so don't be quick to put down MY OPINION, cause remember that's all it is. And I am entitled to it.

I never put down your opinion. I think it's fine for you to have your own opinion. But I don't see how it is so confusing. Is your real mom in your life? Because you might be adopted..but is it the same situation?
