Getting my Tubes Tied!?!

Alright so I have my pre-op and PP appointment on July 8th, and on the 11th I'm getting my tubes tied. I'm scared to have it done, just because the recovery, and my man not helping out. Yesterday I had to just finally hand him the baby and go lay down, I was so tired I couldn't see strait or keep my eyes open and I had a pounding headache. So here's my question....

How long does it take to recover afterwards?

I'm pretty sure it's a day or 2 recovery. They do it outpatient so I wouldn't think recovery time would be long at all.

you should be medicated for a few days atleast, and probably wont be able to lift your kids for atleast a week, but you'll be very sore just from the incisions for maybe two weeks

Thank you guys for your input, now I have a better idea of what to expect, and can get my bf better prepared of what he's gonna have to help with. I might just go stay at my moms afterwards just so I know that everything is taken care of with the kids.

My mom had it done, and she said its an outpatient procedure, that really isnt all that bad. Youll just need to be on pain meds for a few days.
