childbirth class... weird!

we had the first of 2 childbirth classes yesterday, we decided to do the 2 four hour classes instead of 4 two hour ones. It was.... interesting! LOL Such a range of couples, and the instructor was just different! She made a ton of jokes that were just NOT funny and was very touchy on all the men, I don't think anyone liked her! I mean she was nice, just irritating! Could be my preggo hormones though I guess!

How did everyone else like the classes?

I liked ours. I didn't really learn anything new (but my husband did and that's why we did them), but the hospital tour and explaining the admission and settling in process helped relax me a lot when I went into labor. I think it just got us both excited about her coming!

Tomorrow is our last class, and I personally really have enjoyed them. The breathing part was something I could do without, I couldn't stop laughing, and thought my instructor would get mad, but she told me that she had the same problem when her and her husband took them. Everytime she looked at me she started laughing too, so it was a lot of fun. && Tomorrow she's bringing us cake so I'm even more in love with her

I never took a class. When I had my son I panicked, so the class may have been a good thing for me, lol. I am having a scheduled c-section for my daughter, is it necessary to take a class for that?

OH me too! The breathing part I was laughing so hard-I just thought it was so dumb! I told my husband "I can't sit here and breath like this." He wanted me to be seriouse so badly but I just felt so stupid! I did end up using the breathing when the time came but I just can't do it in front of a group of people. LOVED my birthing classes other wise.

i like mine for the most part.. but its just boring as hell.. my classes are 2 1/2 hours long for 3 weeks. aaron only goes for the food and i only go so everyone would get off my fricken back about it. but tomorrow we are taking a tour and learning about baby stuff. lol

so no need to bring pillows THANK GOD.

but aaron has to work, so ill probably have my neibor take me so aaron doesnt have to miss work, since we need the money bad

oh when i did my classes they made the men put on fake breast and breastfeed lifelike doll babies it was really funny.
