I hate it right now.. I love being prego, and feeling her move, but its so dang hot.. and im not due till august 10th.... god luck on the walkin

I have a 6 month old daughter. My husband is in the army stationed at Ft. Campbell, KY. We lived there for about a year then he deployed to Iraq, that's where he is now. When he left I moved back home to Nashville, TN but in a few months me and baby will be moving back to Ft. Campbell/Oak Grove, KY to get ready for him to come back. How far are you from there? What city do you live in?

Not sure how far I am.. I live in Lexington... origionally from Mississippi, grew up about 30-45 mins away from Memphis, TN.

Oh my gosh, the cities are 3 hrs apart! I looked at a map and thought it didn't look very far apart but then I mapquested it to see how far exactly and it said 220 miles and 3 hrs.   Wow, guess we won't be doing play dates lol.  

Ft. Campbell & Oak Grove, KY are about 45-60 min from Nashville.

I live in Kentucky, and just found out I'm due in February. My husbands stationed at Ft Campbell also, Nicole. He deploys in January though. We've been here since October and just moved to Hopkinsville, I hate Hoptown. I wanna move back to Oak Grove. =(

Oh does he really? I'm sorry to hear that! Is it a 15 month deployment? My husband will just be getting home around that time. He's doing a 15 month deployment right now, he deployed Sept 2007 and our baby girl was born Dec 21, 2007. LUCKILY He made it JUST in time for her birth. If you are due in Feb and they deploy in Jan then they will let him stay. Alan's (my hubby) unit deployed in Sept 07 and anyone w/ a baby due in either Sept, Oct, or Nov got to stay home til their baby was born. Unfortunately for us we were due in Dec right at the cut off point so he had to deploy.  

Are you gonna live at Ft. Campbell/Oak Grove again? We're moving back there in a few months. I need to go look at apartments or townhomes really soon. I don't wanna go back to the ones we used to live in.

No he only does a 6-8 month deployment. Thank God. We just moved to Hoptown and our lease isn't up until May, and this landlady blows. I hate her.So depending on if he stays in or not we'll be looking for apt'saround thereagain. He's supposed to get out in Aug. of next year. I'd love to move back to Oak Grove. Hoptown's just so outta the way. Ugh.

WOW 6-8 months! That's great! My hubby's been gone for 9 months already and we still have 6 to go! What does your husband do? Mine is Infantry. I never been to Hoptown but I think the area around Ft. Campbell is sooo boring! I'm from Nashville and not that it's exciting here but I'm just used to being around malls and stores and people  

I know i love Nashville especially the downtown by hard rock and the stadium. theres so many lights, i love it! and the zoo is amazing. i love it. and the malls so much bigger than Clarksville's. My husbands in 5th group for SF, he's a welder/fabricator. So thats why he does so short of a deployment. They were talking about doing 3 month deployments, then home for 3 months, then go back for 3 months. idk if i'd like that too much though, its too much back n forth crap. because just as soon as i'd get used to having him home again they'd pull him back out. So i hope they keep it at the 6-8 months.
