I've always heard that to sleep on your back is bad because it decreases the blood flow to your uterus.

Yeah that's what they say... but they also say to really just find a position you are comfy with... sleeping on your back is said to be a no-no, but if you are doing any damage, your body will tell you to turn.

Ive slept any which way I could get comfy and my first came out health as can be, and my second so far has been healthy as can be.... its recomended to sleep on the left , since it gives a better blood/oxygen flow to the baby . But doesnt mean that sleeping anyother way will endanger your baby ....

well when you start to get bigger, its worse because of the weight of the baby.. i slept on my tummy and back for a while then started to stop..

right side you squish your organs or something and left side is better oxygen flow.. but if you feel more comfortable sleeping on your right then by all means go for it..

on your back, the weight of the baby presses on a certain artery that gives oxygen to the baby.. which is why they say to not sleep on your back..

I dont know if anyone else has noticed this, but I noticed if I lay on my back, the baby moves a LOT, almost like he's uncomfortable or something.

I know youre not supposed to lay flat on your back because the weight of your uterus cuts off circulation to the lower part of your body because it rests on your vena cava.

Yeah, mines not really big enough to make it hard to breathe, but its impossible to sleep because he's moving so much.
