fresh young family..........

Anyone else just amazed at their accomplishment of becoming a mother and having to be everything to everyone? My husband is driving me nuts, my kids are on me 24/7..........besides me trying to figure out my life in a nutshell, I am at times overwhelmed.
I love the fact that I am a damn good mother. The laundry is always done, dishes, cooking, cleaning, playtime, diapers, budgeting money.......sigh, all of that and no paycheck with a pain in the ass husband. A husband that is almost like a child and making me think to myself........what did I get myself into?

I wonder if men knew how much we put into our kids and our home.........just to hear my husband say, Jen, you are such a good mom and wife, I love you.........wow, that would be so weird- too bad I won't hear it until next mother's day  Just felt like rambling. I am 25 with a wandering mind.

Yeah i feel like this too i in fact just brought this up to DH the other day. And i have 3 kids plus DH and a bipolar FIL that goes postal sometimes uuugggg they are all my kids i have to keep in line and mind you i dont even see FIL that much. I would talk to DH about it maybe you could get a moms day out or somthing.

yeah, I want a moms day out. I think I am just freaking out about life in general. Sick of the same old same old and I bust my ass to raise my babies and on top of that, be a little maid around the house, handle finances because my husband can't save a penny or be responsible with it, all while going to nursing school. What gives! My husbands favorite saying, "I put a roof over your head and food on the table" Makes me want to fucking punch him. No shit you do! If I could work I would, but instead I make that roof over your head liveable and that food on the table----yeah, I cook that shit. HAHA.

completely agree.

during the week i do all of the housework and take care of the kids while my husband is at work. but once he gets off of work he is expected to help. on the weekends i take the time off from cleaning. i still do the dishes sometimes but he gets the weekends off from work so should i. if he ever uses the excuse that he is tired and worked all day i say i worked all day too and i put the same amount of hours as you.
