Twins- Vaginal or C-Section Delivery?

posted 22nd Jun
I am starting to worry about how my twins will be delivered. I know that delivery may depend on thow twins are positioned. Are there any moms with twins whos twin A was Vertex and twin B was breach, and how did you deliver the babies? I know that once twin A is breach then C-section is already a must. I just worry that if I deliver twin A vaginally I don't want to go through all these hours and pain and then have a C-section for the second twin. Is it safe to rotate the second twin. I'm very concerned and I don't know what is the best option for that case. Any tips or help appreciated.

Have you talked to your doctor? My friend delivered her twins vaginally but it was the first vaginal delivery of twins in 5 months at that hospital.

If the first one comes out then that one has already streached it and they will just deliver baby b breech. Its ok to do that they do it all the time. And they will prolly deliver you in the OR just in case anyways.

My MIL had her twin boys (one is my love) naturally with NO DRUGS! And didnt find out she was having twins untill the doc said "time to start pushing again" AND twin B (my love) was breech.

She's never said it was horrible...
Thought I'd share!

Hey, I am also having twins in September!! How ya feeling?? I am worried about having a C-section, I have heard good stories and bad ones. I was told by my doctor that as long as baby A is in the vertex position that I could deliver vaginally. But I am sure your doctor will do what is best for you and your babies. I will parenttank u.

I have twins and I had a c-section. Baby A was vertex and B was breach. The doctor told me that once Baby A was out then they could possibly turn Baby B to come out but if not I would have to have a c-section any ways. So I just went for the c-section. They were my first too so I was scared to death. The c-section was fine, I had no problems.
