Is your mattress plastic?

I have a matress cover so I don't really need to clean mine

But I guess you could use that Clorox Anywhere, they say it is a gentle as soap and water.

just wipe it with some hot water and dish soap. I don't think you really need to wash it unless baby pees or pukes through the sheet

Go to Target or Walmart and purchase a matress pad for $15.00, it is worth it and you wont have to worry about cleaning the matress.

Yes, it is the same concept as the one you would have for your own bed but just smaller to fit the infant matress.
I got mine at Walmart for $15
