My Awesome Baby Shower!!! *Pics*

My baby shower was yesterday and it was amazing!!

My sisters and mom planned it and they woke me up in the morning and told me I had to get ready at my sisters house so they could set everything up. Well as my sister was driving me, she said that she had to pick something up and ended up surprising me with an appointment to get my hair cut, coloured and done up all pretty   I was very surprised and excited since I hadn't got my hair dyed since pre-pregnancy!

So after getting my hair done, I went back to my house and everything was set up in the backyard so nice! It looked beautiful and it was so hot outside. Everything was pink and blue since I don't know the sex. There was around 25 people who showed up. The food was awesome too... there was a chocolate fountain with fruit and cream puffs to dip in it.

This was the table where my guest signing scrapbook was (yes, my sister made me a 14 page scrapbook of all the pics throughout my pregnancy!) but it was in use at this moment!

My two diaper cakes!! These were soooo awesome! They had a total of 66 diapers, baby lotion, baby powder, baby oil and baby wipes and in each of them there was a big box at the bottom and a little box on top of that. In the 2 little boxes were a blue pacifier and a pink pacifier and in one of the big boxes was handmade thank you cards for me to fill in and in the other my 3 sisters had each written me a note saying how proud they are of me and how they know i'll be a great mother and they also each wrote a note to the baby!!! It was such an amazing gift to get! One of my favourites

Well that's all the pics off my camera but my sister has lots of others. It turned out so well and I am so grateful for everything my sisters had done for me! It was amazing. I got tons of great stuff as well, like an evenflo highchair, the fisher price newborn to toddler rocker, wipes warmer, diaper genie, my travel system, a breast pump,baby monitor, a baby bathtub with a TON of bath products and bath toys, $100 gift certificate to cravings maternity (a local maternity boutique) where I plan on getting the CuddlyWrap Baby Carrier and also over $100 in other certificates!!

aww i had two baby showers, they were awesome... I have the the fisher price newborn to toddler rocker & its really cool.. I also have the diaper genie and that is a life saver... I don't want to sound rude but you should return the stuff you don't need and get other things you will need later, babys r us will take returns even without a reciept which is great lol, they gave me money in cash too.. you'd be surprised how much money you get from returning like two things.. Good luck!

Yeah, I got another vibrating chair but the fisher price one vibrates as well and you can use it for a toddler so i'm going to return the one that just vibrates but other than that I didn't get doubles of anything or anything I didn't really need. I am having another shower after the baby is born with just my friends as well!

Thanks everyone!! They really did put a lot of time into planning it. I'm so lucky   I also forgot to mention another gift that my mom and dad got me (my dad actually picked it out!) It's from Fruits n Passion (I dunno if you guys have it in the States, I'm assuming you do, but it's like the body shop type store) and anyways they got me this little gift set of organic baby products with baby body wash, baby lotion, diaper protective baume and baby perfume!! It all smells soooo nice! Like a sweet newborn baby! haha and they also got me some awesome bubble bath and this body spray that when you spray on yourself, it cools you down. It's so awesome. A very original but great baby shower gift!

Thanks   The hairdresser so did not listen to what I wanted AT ALL. I wanted to go lighter and have different shades of blonde with a bit of light brown in it as well so I didn't look too blonde and she just dyed it brown and streaked it blonde   And then when she did it she made it SUPER poofy! I looked like I was from the 50's haha but when I came home I fixed it a bit. It looks a lot better when I just straighten it though. The color is okay... but I'm gunna go lighter after baby is born

You sound like you got lots of fun stuff too....I remember after I had my shower being so excited about everything ( still am ) but, feeling like a kid that got lots of awesome toys for x-mas and no batteries to put in them..lol
btw the new hair is cute..such a pretty mama!!
