Vomiting unexpectedly sorry if TMI!

Hi everyone,
I have had pains in my stomach and back all weekend. Last night I developed a headache, had just taken something for it and was overcome with pains in my stomach, so strong I couldn't even walk or answer my friend to tell her what was going on.
I made it to the bathroom where I was sick maybe 8 times, to the point where there was nothing left.
I didn't feel sick before, I didn't even know I was going to be sick you know you usually get that awful feeling just before) and afterwards aside from the headache I didn't feel sick.
Is this a part of the body getting ready for labour? I don't know if I should go see a dr or my OB or not worry about it if its normal. I ahven't been sick since just pains in teh back and the baby dropped a lot this weekend.
Has this happened to anyone? Any good ideas?

if you are this close to your due date, i would call a doc. immediately just to be safe. the baby could be in distress and only the doc could tell. you've come too far now to not play it safe. call the doctor

Go to the hospital hon.
I was just in the hospital for the same kind of symptoms last week. It could be your gall bladder acting up.

heh, this happened to me this morning. I went into L and D this morning and it ended up being Braxton Hicks and dehydration. After they gave me 2 big powerades ( i refused the IV, im scared shitless of needles) the nausea stopped.
I am 2-3 cm dilated and a soft cervix...but not effaced at all...they said my body is preparing for labor.

LOL well not sure what is happening have been drinking a bit of water to try to help my headache, but I didn't want to sound like I was silly and over panicking over some trivial symptom to them!
