you will do a fine job. think about this, my great grandmother was 15 when she had her first kid, didn't finish high school, had a second kid three years later and provided as much as she could a wonderful life. She was a wonderful person ;)

and I am sure you are a wonderful person

I know its VERY exciting when you find out the sex and you want everything in either pink or blue, BUT think of it this way! One day you may have more kids and baby things AREN'T cheap!! Get them all neutral so you wont have a baby boy in a pink stroller. You can always let ppl know the sex of ur baby by puttin ribbons in her hair or dressing her up in pink or purple.
As for the baby shower, i would do it bc again, baby stuff aint cheap, and second you usually only get ONE baby shower and that's w/ ur first child and you may regret not having one later. If you dont want gifts then just tell them to bring diapers (your going to need them!!!), but it would be a great get together w/ friends and family b4 ur boyfriend has to leave for basic training and it would be a great memory for him to hold on to while he's home sick and training away from you and the baby.

I must say that bouncer and swing are really nice..
If your mum wants everything pink, then i suggest you go and buy some pink material and make covers for them, because that way they will be pink, and it wont cost much to make some covers.

With the baby shower, i say go for it. It doesnt matter what your age, your having a baby, and a baby shower is a way of celebrating your baby.

Good luck!

I agree, you should definitely go for the shower! It's a time to welcome the baby! Also, the items given to you, as I am told are VERY useful especially when they're in such good of condition like yours. Alot of times you can search online for the items you were given and can find new covers. and I agree maybe going for a neutral color for you next child. And you can always add ribbons or pink/purple receiving blankets?

Just a thought, I know I'd be greatful for any help or anything given to you and baby! Congratulations!
