My babyshower...

So my babyshower was yesterday. It turned out very nice! I recieved many gifts - more then I know what to do with, however I receieved hardly any diapers! I also receieved no bottles ora breast pump. Would any of you mommys have any recommendations on where to get a breast pump for cheap! (or what kind is the best for cheap) any suggestions would be great.

I got the evenflo one from target it was like 70 bucks I think and I love it. [well as much as you can love a bp ] lol

do you have wic? I heard that they give you a pump to use for free but you have to give it back after you are done with it.

I bought mine on e-bay which be careful when buyinig on there. But i got a really nice brand new pump for cheap. i almost bought the same one at babies rus for like $350.00 and i bought it for $120 on e-bay

Look into renting one from your hospital (a breast pump that is). Most hospitals rent them out, and they are of great quality, plus, if for some reason you aren't able to bf, or if something happens to be wrong with the pump, you're not out a couple hundred dollars.

Oh, I've also heard that Medela is the best brand you can buy.

I've heard that you should wait to see how your baby responds to your breastmilk first. There was a set of twins on the discovery channel yesterday who were allergic to thier mother's milk.

I am waiting on the breast pump, until my baby is here. I hope she takes to the milk, and if so I plan on renting one from the hospital for a few weeks, to determine which one i want to buy...cuz they are not cheap =0)

The first pump I bought was the Avent Isis. I bought a combo pack that had 4 bottles, nipples, storage supplies, and a cooling pack for $60. It's a great pump. It's manual. But I believe they have an electric Isis.

No diapers...LAME!!

Mine was yesterday as well and I only got one pack of diapers. And they are size newborn- up to 8 lbs. But my jungle baby- haha- was weighing in close to 5 lbs last Monday. So I doubt I'll be able to use them. Oh well.

You never know! My son was 8lbs 12oz and he wore N for almost a month!
