C-section mommies??

How long did it take you to recover? Like when you were able to get up without any pain?

my c-section was June 5th and I really don't feel pain anymore...I don't have to take any pain meds. The only time I feel any pain/discomfort is if I try to do too much, like when I tried to take the dog on a walk a few days ago. Other than that, I feel great.

FOr me about 4 weeks. But before that i was still able to bend and lift stuff even though they told me not to. Pain didnt even compare to labor. They said i was doing really good. i showed that stupid midwife wrong. (she was trying to tell me with being chunky it could take longer for me to heal if i have to have a c-section.)

watching this... My c-section is on Wednesday (and im scared)so i'm interested to see what you guys say.

I could get up and walk around comfortably within 2 or 3 weeks I think. Anytime before that I was walking but still kinda sore, especially the first week.

lol I guess the nurses at the hospital thought I would be bed ridden after I had my first. They said they hadn't seen anyone do so well after a c section before me. I hate when they say "because you're bigger"....I'm like, I just had a baby, I dare you to call me fat again! lol

The only reason I had any pain was because I refused to let them take my staples out until I was 7 days Post Partum.

But after that I was just fine!

I had mine 3 weeks ago and feel great. The only part of me that hurts is my saggy belly. lol I have a little excess skin right now because I got so big. That is only tender to clothes rubbing on it or when I bump it.

I agree 100% but I still would have prefered vaginally...

I know i didnt like her from the start because my mom had her and she was a complete bitch to her too. Then the first day she examined me she was like so ur 18 and not married right. I was like no actually i am married and it says it right on your stupid chart maybe you should learn how to read and she was all rude to my husband too. I felt like she was trying to stereotype me and shit.

yeah...I hated my extra skin   I just put a folded up overnight pad on my insicion(sp) for padding and the hospital gave me a brace to hold my belly down...that helped a lot.

I'm glad my mom worked at the hospital where I had my daughters...all the nurses there knew her and liked her so they weren't dumb enough to say something stupid like that. Some people are just narrow minded...

i liked the brace a lot.it kept everything in place. made it easier to walk. but now it just hurts when I have it on.
