A couple things ...
I used to RARELY have dreams. Now it seems like the past few weeks everytime I'm asleep I have a dream. Some nightmares some just off the wall and some kind of bring back memories. My mom tells me its normal to dream a lot when you're pregnant. But between the nightmares and the old memories I wish the dreams would go away!!!!!
Its so weird because I dated a guy for 4 years and it ended HORRIBLY! It ended up basicaly being an abusive relationship. But when the times were great it was amazing to be with him. We haven't been together for like 2+ years now ... maybe even 3, and I just don't understand why he's coming up in my dreams so much. He's married (i think) and he has like a 1 year old daughter. He's moved on and I guess so have I? I got married this last February. My husband hadn't been together for long but we figured it was meant for us.
The dreams that I have about him are of us running into each other and him being amazing to me. And us agreeing that we want to be together again and blah blah blah. Of course I wake up and reality sets in that people never change and he will always be the douche that he was.
But holy crap I've never dreamt this much. It would be great to not dream haha. I want those memories and the nightmares to stop!!!!!
Annnd my other thing is ... might sound silly but whatever.
When I hit puberty I wasn't exactly well endowed (sp) with the breasts compared to my friends. And I think I mostly like to sleep on my stomache. Well back then I was so worried that sleeping on my stomache was the cause of them not being so big. Haha I know silly.
But now I wake up on my stomache and I'm only 12+ weeks but I have just a little baby bump and I worry that me sleeping on my stomache is going to do something. But I can't help it ... I eventually just roll that way. Blah ... this whole thing all probably sounds silly ....

my ex fiance left me at the altar and I still dream about him all the time. I also dream about my baby's father constantly. Even though they're both GIANT assholes I wake up missing them like you wouldn't believe. It's so rough on me. I know what you're going through and I'm sorry!
About the baby bump...I didn't even show until about 25 weeks!

I've been having crazy dreams lately too... last night I dreamt I had a girl instead of a boy and my fiance didn't want me anymore =( Weird, but I think its the hormones, and the insecurities I have had since becoming prego. Its weird what your sub-conscious mind thinks of....
And about the sleeping on the belly thing... I slept like that for awhile... they say that if its uncomfortable for the baby you will know it... He's still got a lot of room in there =)

i have the weirdest dreams too. i used to wake up on my stomach too until it got uncomphy your body will let you know i cant wait til i can sleep on my tummy again tho

you'll know when your belly is too big to sleep on your tummy. Dont worry, unless its uncomfortable to you, its not uncomfy for the babies. I've just recently hit that point to where I cant lay on my belly at all anymore.. it just hurts! So believe me when people say 'you will know', you will.
as for the dreams, I can guarantee that everyone has strange dreams like that while pregnant. unfortunately, its the hormones, and theres nothing you can do. I wish mine would go away sometimes lol I have really weird ones that seem like I just popped out of a comic book when I wake up lol!!

i dream about one ex in particular all the time. I also dream about one person who i have always loved very very deeply from a distance for the last 8 years. I knew from the very start i would never have him so i never even tried. We are still friends but i have accepted that it can never ever be, so i have moved on. I do dream about him a few times a weeks though. It is really hard and i am so scared that i will say something in my sleep and my husband will hear. I love my husband with all my life and i would never want him to think i was longing for someone else. It is scares me.
i hoe for you that things start to get better. Mine have only gotten worse.

I know about the dreams...they can get crazy. It is hormonal. I think it is probally also your subconcious. You are entering a brand new phase of your life. You are becoming a mother. Your whole life is about to change. I think your mind is just trying to adjust and to heal a little. When I got pregnant with my 1st, I went through similar dreams. I called them the "what if dreams". In the end, I figured that life turned out the way it did because it was meant. And no matter how good my dreams were, the reality was it would NEVER be that way. Once an ass always an ass, as I say. Just don't think over them too much. They will run their course. Good luck!

Good point ... I occasionally talk in my sleep. Right now me and my husband aren't living together (long story, but we're good) but oddly enough it seems like when we do sleep together I have nightmares that will wake me up from my sleep. And when I'm not sleeping with him I'm dreaming dreaming and dreaming some more about my ex and an occasional other random dudes who are completely made up in my dreams. But oy... yea I don't want to say any of that out loud. I feel guilty for even dreaming about other guys ... its awful!!!!!! But the worst part is that I can't control it!!!

I read somewhere if you glance at someone for 8 seconds, that person's face is commited to memory. So, the guys you are dreaming about may not be so random...you probally saw them that day on the street. I don't know if this even helps, it is just some weird fact that has been stuck in my brain. Probally from all the psych courses I took.
I never talk in my sleep, but my hubby does. He has, on 1 occassion, talked about another girl. I didn't get too mad - yeah, right. I understand you can't control your dreams, but I was like.."whoa, who the hell is Phyliss?" It hasn't happened, again though. Dreams are just dreams.

There are some good dream sites on the internet, too. You can type in key words and then it analyizes your dream. They are pretty cool. It could be fun to try.
