How early did your breast start leaking? My doc has been telling me that I should start soon, but he has been saying that for a couple of weeks... When did you start using a breast pump? I want to breast feed, and make sure im producing enough for my little girl.

i started using a pump to stimulate production while I was in the hospital after I had her.. It took about 4 days for my milk to start coming in enough to make a bottle for her..

nvrmind, you haven't given birth yet, lol.. Just pump to stimulate and put the baby on your breast if breastfeeding is what you intend to do but in the meantime until you produce full on milk it's best to supplement with formula..
The baby will prefer your milk once given, trust me

It really depends on the woman some never leak so leak really bad. It can happen at any time. And dont use the pump untill after you have had your baby cause it can cause you to have contractions. But if you are going to bf the best thing for your supply is for the baby to suck your body knows the diffrence between the baby and the pump.

true milk doesn't come in untill 3-5 days after the baby is born.
giving birth will help to stimulate the hormone that starts the colostrum and then milk production increase. so don't do anythign till you have the baby.
I never leaked at all while pregnant each time.
but some women do..but it doesn't indicate thatyoushould start pumping..because you need to wait till the babyis born..otherwise if youstart pumping beforehand it could trigger early labor (though that is really only if you are at risk for it)
