OT-Dressing up for dinner?(pic added)

i was wondering if any of you had ever head of "the melting pot".. my hubby bought me a dress to wear to dinner for our anniversary tomorrow night and i need a resturant that a dress would not look too dressed up, hes gonna wear slacks. is the melting pot a nice place?.. i live near va bch btw if anyone knows anywherehttp://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g49/sexynavy85/dinnerdress.jpg

you can wear jeans and a nice top or a cute dress but dont go too dressy.

Oh and yeah, the melting pot is a cool place.

OMG, i love the melting pot, is is a nice place, alot of the people around here dress up when they go.

i highly suggest either the fiesta cheese or the swiss. the california salad and the smores choc. (we het it w/milk cho) i've actually gone in jeans and a Tshirt after work but, like someone said jeans and a cute top would be fine.

I love the melting pot.. it's my fav chain.. And it's a lot nicer than most but I'd say just to wear a casual dress or cute top and jeans.. Heel worthy but not eveningwear worthy for sure..

we have one of those hear in New Orleans. I havent been there but I want to go. Let me know if its good

it's not 5 star but, it's swanky   i should say chic.

Do you have a pic of the dress? The melting pot here is kinda dressy/casual.

There is a melting pot around here too and I have never been and wanted to go but wasnt sure. You guys gave good reviews so we may check it out now in the next couple of weekends.

It's fondu.
1st course is cheese
you pick your cheese and they make it at your table.
They then bring you green apples (the best part) bread cubes and veggies to dip

2nd course is a salad of your choice

3rd course is your meat and veggie

you pick the cooking liquid. I suggest the burgandy one w/mushrooms. Vu Coq somethin.

they make your cooking liquid and bring you raw meat and veggies and several dipping sauce. I am addicted to the green goddess

you skewer your meat and drop it in the pot for about 2 mins and then dip it.

4th course is chocolate. You pick your chocolate

they melt your chocolate at the table and bring you cheese cake, pound cake brownies, marshmellows and fruit to dip.

Wow that dessert sounds really good, I may have to go just for that and the cheese alone.
