I'm confused

My son is almost 6 months old. I've been charting my cycles since March because I want to know how my cycles work since we will be trying again when our son is about a year. The first cycle I charted was only 25 days, the next was 29 and the one after was 31. This cycle is 31 days and no sign of AF yet. I've never had a cycle this long before. I'm wondering how long it will take for my cycles to regulate again. And do irregular cycles effect your ovulation?

My mom said it took her about 6 months.
