Just got the Mirena

Is it ok to use tampons right after you get the mirena?

When I had it they told me that I would be good to go as I normally would with everything. That became my best friend for 2 years

I really don't see why not, I didn't for the first few days but afterrwards I started using them.

I was looking to get that after my baby is born but, why would you need a tampon right now are you constantly bleeding when you first get it? or are you just asking for future reference?
