isn't this weird/strange??

okay okay first off i know this proves im a POASA...but i wanted a better pic of my BFP so i took a test...


I thought both lines were suppose to be dark and it's even weirder that my 2nd line is DARKER than my control line. i know it's not bad...or i don't think it is...but i just never seen that before.

I'm sorry but that's ridiculously funny. It looks like they assembled it backwards, so the darker line is supposed to be your control line, but the stuff got put in the wrong way...

Well what is cool is that if you get a second line...even if the factory scrwewed it up ...you are pregnant. Even if it is faint. My freind was like...your line isn't very dark so you aren't pregnant. Well I had twins...So yay you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I thought mine was faulty too, but my line was WAY lighter than yours. So, I went in for a blood test. Congrats!

i've actually seen this happen a lot. obviously you're pregnant but i think they really did just put the little piece of paper in backwards.

I took 3 tests the first 1 was negative, the second one was very very faint and the third one was still light! I'm 24 weeks tomorrow!

If you disassemble the test, you can see that it's obvious it doesn't really matter which way you put it in, you still have room to pee on the thing and whatnot so that's why I guessed it was put in backwards.

i took 7 tests (yeah... i know. i was in shock. haha.) and on EACH of them my test line was darker than the control line. and these were a variety of brands. i took the tests at 5 weeks 6 days. i actually thought it must be twins because of how dark the line was, but there's only one little diva in there. guess i'm just hormonal.  

Well even if it is backwards, you are pregnant. Congrats

The same thing happened to me my control line was way lighter than the test line. My husband said that meant I was "REALLY" pregnant lol.

its not backwards...early test will show a faint line and if you take it whe your further along it is brighter because its detecting more hormones...i took several test and one with a plus sign where the control line was horizontal and the "positive'' line was vertical and it was much darker just like your...it just means the hormornes are increasing

I never thought i wasn't pregnant...i just wanted to take a test so i could get a better picture of my two lines (which obviously didn't work very well)

I just figured the 2nd line would get darker, not the control line get lighter.

Like shannon Michelle said, it's because your hcg hormone is sooo much higher than when you first tested. You don't usually see them that dark because most people take them when their hcg levels are just around 25-100, you know yours is much higher than that.
