PLZ tell me if i am. i cry becuz i dont have enough money to buy any baby things yet. im due in 18 weeks...dont know where ill be staying..and cant set up for kayden yet..and it makes me so sad! and i going baby crazy?

Um, no. You have a reason to be upset. I'd be hysterical if I were in that situation, but you need to suck it up and figure it out before that baby gets here.

Whether it's easier said than done or not..You have to take care of the child you are having, which means you go to any means necessary to prepare for it to the best of your abilities. =)

yeah i know what u mean about easier said than done... i think that was kind of rude of her to tell u to suck it up.

at least u have a hubby to fall back on with his support and stuff too and soon u will move in with him. im dealing with trying to get things together all by myself since ive been single my entire pregnancy. i get frustrated and upset about the things i cant get myself too.. but ive found it very helpful to sign up on freecycle.org and on craigslist. both have been SUPER helpful to me in getting things together.

No...you're not. But the fact still remains that you have a baby coming, so you've just got to find some way to get it together.

Hm, at 22 weeks along I... had just moved back to Oklahoma and in with my dad, after moving to Houston & in with my aunt, after moving to Plano and in with a friend (where I found out I was pregnant) after my brother's funeral, after my ex husband left me, after he purposefully got me pregnant to "save the marriage"

I didn't have anything.... at all... and I Still don't have a place to stay really :/ my dad smokes in the house and it makes me SO angry... My boyfriend and I are looking for a place, and I didn't have anything for the baby until the baby showerMarch 7th (she was born March 19th) and even then, the only reason I got things I needed was from gift cards... no one got me things I needed, it was all cutesy clothes that she can't wear yet

it will all work out!!!! I am happier than I ever knew I could be, and I still don't have a proper home (granted I cry every now and then because of this shithole, excuse my language)

No you have a reason to be upset. I hope everything works out for you and you get things together before the baby arrives. You still have a little bit of time left. Good luck.

No doubt it's hard. I've had it both ways....with my son I did it by myself, and this time I have a husband supporting me and a damn good job. But freaking out doesn't help. Putting it bluntly, the OP does have to, in fact, suck it up. It's got to get done...The only person she can depend on it herself.

I'm not rude, but when we get pregnant and decide we're keeping these babies, we HAVE to take care of them. It doesn't help to complain but I understand her point.

My fiance and I live with my parents. The house is tiny and we have next to no room for Korben when he gets here and Micah and I really cant afford an apartment right now... So I know how you feel. I bug out at least 4 times a week about not having room and being unprepared.

You need to make a game plan, with goals and time lines. You are right, 18 weeks will go fast. So figure out what you CAN do, step by step.

You can get baby stuff at consignment shops, Goodwill, etc...Many hospitals have donation programs and can hook you up with a car seat.

You either need a job, or a better job. It's hard to do when pregnant so try a temp agency. They will go MUCH easier on you. Try something entry level such as reception, file clerk, mail room, etc...

You need a place to live, but all that means is a roof and 4 walls. Look at studio apartments if you have to. You might be cramped but you will be warm and dry.

Focus on what you can do and take it from there. Your child needs you to be strong. You might not be comfortable for a while, but will your baby really notice?

wow..okay so i dont think anyone of u have room to talk right now.
damn all i was saying was is anyone else the same way that they just wanna get everything set up but cant go out and buy it all right now. i HAVE the money to do it just not all right now..and no i dont have a place to stay but i have friends who have wanted to help and have said if it comes down to my family REALLY kicking me out ((since sometimes things change after the baby is here)) then i could stay with them for a while rent free. so before everyone starts attacking me get ur info right.

anyways..

gnome yea ur right about a game plan i sat down last night at started making one with money i cant spend a week and what i need to be saving. as for a job..u come here and try and find a job...wont happen..there are none..and im not kidding. ive been almost EVERYWHERE. no one is hiring cuz no one is buying. but ive been looking hard for a second job.
