I bled hard for about a week and then light for 3 weeks after that. Ugh! I hate that. But you can start working out as soon as you feel you can. I would wait at least 2 weeks though. But your at 3 weeks and if you feel ok go for it. Just take it slow and build up to a strong workout. Don't overdue it.

6 weeks I have been told.
I bled for two weeks and then had the heavy discharge for a week after that.

That's about what I had to lose after my kids and I got home from the hospital. It really depends how you feel. After my first I could barely walk for 2 weeks let alone try and work out. My second time around, I felt great!!! I was working out a few days after I came home. I started out with pilates. It's a slow workout but gives awesome results!

Awe when did you end up having your little one?? I havent been on here in FOREVER.. I think since the day I got home from the hospital so i'm assuming I missed the whole labor story and pictures. But from your avi.. she looks adorable!!

At my 10 day PP visit my dr said since I was recovering well I could do light exercise now...i'm sure that just means walking and maybe some sit down leg and stomach exercises. Once I hit 6 weeks i'm gonna start running...constantly.

I have about 20lbs to lose to be back to my pre preggo size too. I am already starting to slowly exercise some. I am walking on my treadmill and doing sit ups and squats. I am also taking the baby for walks occasionally(when it isn't 100 degrees)

I am almost 4 weeks PP (this coming Tuesday) and I feel great. About the bleeding....I am still spotting. Some days barely anything and some days nothing at all. Almost not noticeable anymore.....Now I am waiting for the dreadful PP period!!
