Hiccups or heart beat???

A couple of times a day I feel like my entire uterus is a throbbing heart. I know that sounds weird and I was wonderng if it could be hiccups? The only thing is that it feels really, really fast, like as fast as my heart beats, and when it happens my baby stops moving? Is this the hiccups or is it something I should be worried about? And... weird I know, when this happens I feel like all of the twitching makes me nauseas. Anyone else experience anything similar?

I would say hiccups. I could never feel the heartbeat. Is that even possible?

Is it really, really fast though when she hiccups? I have been assuming that is what it is, but it literally is as fast as my own heartbeat.

Well you have to think that a babies heartrate is a lot faster than ours. It's hiccups. I thought my baby would never stop hiccuping.

its prolly hiccups lol its very rythmic feeling....... My son use to get the hiccups 3-4 times a day when I was pregnant with himand oh my it would hurt me after awhile lol I would be like "do you mind" lol, but in the beginning it was a lovely feeling........

thank god for this post. I thought for about 4 weeks that i was buggin out. But recently, my sister and BD could feel it too. Dang i guess girl spends most of time hiccuppin than cuz when 85% of the times I put my hand down on my belly, I can feel the rise and the fall

I very very very often feel my own heartbeat in my belly. I'll put a hand there, and check my pulse at the same time and they are exactly in sync. No idea why. It happened sometimes before I got preggers, but now it happens WAY more frequently.

I'm assuming it's because of the extra blood my heart is pumping, and cuz my heart is working harder. Also I bet the placenta w/ amniotic fluid helps to "transmit" weird feelings.
