3D Ultrasound

We went for our 3D ultrasound today and I was a little disappointed. We did find out that our little girl is still a little girl..LOL...so that was good, but she had her hands and even one foot in front of her face the whole time! I'm 30 weeks and I didn't think she woud be that scrunched up already. The tech even commented about what a little chubbier she was..and she is! LOL
But $125 later we only got one decent picture of her, I wish we would have gone sooner.  

Awwwwwwww, she is goin to be a lil cuteee, I mean she already is, but you kno where im getting at.

I got a great picture of her face at 19 weeks. At the end of 32 weeks she had her hands in front of her face the entire time...disappointing. But more of a surprise when she gets here!

The pic is so cute though! She looks like a gorgeous girl!  

Yeah, our little one had his hands mostly in front of his face the whole time too...We got ours at 33 weeks, but we got some good pics. No matter what the US tech did he didn't want to move was all sleepy when we had it done, except for one moment he yawned and it was cute.

i went at 23 weeks and had one done it was amazing so i knew i wanted to go back so i scheduled one for 33 weeks and it was awful! he was turned twordge my back the tech had to keep rolling me over to get him to move then he would covered his face with his hands he wasnt very good lol i only got one good pic too the other looked scary.

I had a 3d done and my son covered his face the WHOLE time with hes foot and his handso they let us come back a week later and re did it for free.

When is a good time to get a 3d one done>?/

I hear the 3D ultrasounds can detect the sex better. I'm considering going in for one in a few weeks. (I'm 12 weeks now)
I just don't think I can bear to wait until my 20 week ultrasound. Has anyone had a 3d u/s this early?? Will baby be developed enough you think?

I had mine done at 30 weeks I have pics in my album if you want to look. When I scheduled mine they said that 30 weeks was the best time.

i hear if you have ont that early the babu looks really skinny and pics arnt that great..I had them done with both of my babies at 29 weeks and pics came out great!! i would wait just so that you can get good pics 

I went at 30 weeks and my little guy had the cord in front of his face the whole time. Not to mention he's already in position & was weighing in at 4lbs 4 oz!

I was told between 27-30 weeks was the best time.

I am in delaware.. Where did you get it done ? ARe you upstate or downstate? if you are upstate you should have seen if your DR would send you for a ultrasound and get them to send you to American Radiology.. They do 3ds there when they do your regular u/s!
