Ok, here goes. This was 4 months PP, I think
I am 13lbs away from my ideal weight. LOTS of strechies!

you know, the stretch marks thing-- i was so terrified of them pre-pregnancy, but thanks to the women on this site posting these awesome pics of their body and just accepting the havoc my baby wreaked on my body (my vagina is not purty w/ the labial tears/sutures -- but i never really though vagina's were so great looking anyway, so meh), i no longer feel like stretch marks are so frikkin' horrible.

in a way, belly stretch marks are sort of cool. i think we should own the scarring our babies do to us-- there's no shame in being able to literally make another human being w/ our bodies... au contrair, what a powerful talent.

no wonder dudes are so insecure... they hardly contribute to the human race (drop off a few million sperm for a few seconds and blammo, they're done).

i mean, why do guys get a scar and it makes them look "hard core" or whatever... we get stretch marks and feel ashamed to wear a bikini?

that's not right.

so yeah. IF i ever get preggers again, i'm definitely not going to be as paranoid about getting some stretch marks. they really aren't that big of a deal in the end. they're proof of just how much i've contributed to the human race.
