SHE'S OFF OXYGEN!!! SHE IS ALMOST HOME!

So I walked in to see Angelina this morning and she is not only in an open bassinet but her nasal canula was gone! I was shocked. I felt like this day would never come. They put her tube down her nose so that when she takes the bottle, she will have a better suck. She only had 5 desats all day yesterday and again, they are believed to be due to her reflux. I got to dress her up and she was so cute! They said all she has to do is take every feed from the bottle and she is good to go. She is basically days away from being at home! You guys were right. Thank you all for talking me through this. This has seemed like a neverending nightmare that I keep waking up to. I was so happy by all this I started to cry from being so happy.

what a relief that must be for you. You are so strong to endure that kind of worry, but its over now. Now yu can go home and enjoy that little girl like you were meant to.  

Congrats!I just got all teary eyed. I am a big baby but I just know how hard it is having a NICU baby. How wonderful it is to have your baby home. I am so happy for you.

LOL, she is almost home guys. But thank you so much. We had to go run out and buy the carseat cause the nurse asked me "So do you have everything ready?" and I was like "Kinda" So now we are ready. She will need probably a few more days to master the bottle, she still falls asleep toward the end. Any day now and she will be home.

Piper spent 2 days in the NICU. She wasn't a Preemie but, she was forgetting to breath and turning blue. I can't imagain having such a long stay there. You are one strong mama and deserve at least a pat on the back   I can't wait for the post that tells us she's home where she belongs!!!!!!

Aww congrats mama, wodi tell ya! i knew you guys would be home soon, ive seen sooooo many mommas go through it like you and make it home so soon after. You'd think it would give me some hope but im just wondering when it'll ever happen for us   Anyway... well done Angelina!! what a beautiful name too
