Is that a screwdriver you have?

posted 20th Jun
So I'm having sharp pains down to my V [almost like if she was stabbing me with a screwdriver] along with some cramping on the right side BUT its only when I'm walking around.
I dont think its braxton hicks....

The people in my doctors office are the grumpiest people so I thought I'd ask you ladies first.

Should I be worried??

Baby is probably hitting or laying against a nerve. I'm sorry, I know it can be painful but there's not a whole lot we can do about it unfortunately. Another lovely pregnancy normalty we have to deal with

It sounds like braxton hicks, and your muscles getting ready for real contractions. If it starts to hurt TOO bad, I say call your doctor. Drink a lot of water, make sure you are hydrated. And rest =)

No,not at the same time. It tightens when I'm sitting [BH] and its painless I only feel pain when I walk around.

I wish I could rest, I'm at work and there is no way out of this lame place. Thanks though!

It sounds like what I have had since about 36 wks..It only happens when I am standing or walking around and it feels like a sharp pain on the cervix or coming from the vagina..
does it make you stop in your tracks? whenever i get it I always have to stop and for some reason it makes me squeeze my legs together (for some reason I always think that will make it go away) lol..
but yah if thats what your are feeling..it isnt braxton hicks..I am not sure really what it is though

Yes! It totally stops me.

lol..yah call..and see what they think it is..it never hurts to know..
I tried googling it but I didnt really find much info

If I had to guess though I would say its the baby pushing or poking down towards the cervix..but then again im not a DR

Don't be afraid to call your doctor. It's their job to make sure that you and your baby are as healthy as can be. They need to not be so grumpy. If they are not happy being doctors, then maybe they should look into pursuing another profession. But seriously, don't ever be afraid to call them. You need to do what's best for you and your baby.
