Cold symptoms? =[

I feel kind of like I have a head cold today. But yesterday I was perfectly fine. For me, whenever I get sick, it happens slowly & I see & feel it coming.

I once read that while pregnant you can experience some cold symptoms without actually having one..

Is that fact or fiction?

It's fact .

Head stuffiness - sinus pressure etc is a common pregnancy occurence.
They are caused by the increased amount of blood in your body and hormones acting on the tissues of your nose.

Fact for sure! They say head congestion, nose congestion, and ear congestion is normal. Also your immune system is alot slower now because the baby is sucking all the good stuff up from you, so you are more susceptible to catching a cold. When I was in my 17th week I caught a cold that ended up turning into acute bronchitis with two inner ear infections. It was no fun! Hope you feel better!

I get the pounding head and stuffy nose every once in a while.

At almost 21 weeks, then it's normal then? lol.
I woke up &I thought I was dying. I looked like a zombie trying to get up to go to the bathroom.
AHH My head is about to explode.

Im 16 weeks... I had a headcold for about 5 days.. went to OB's because i was feeling terrible... he prescribed a low dose of sudafed which helped alot with the head cold... the problem is that 2 days later I got a really bad cold... chest congestion, wheezing, sneezing! HORRIBLE! I went back to the doctor's yesterday and he placed me antibiotics. I'm like "come on it's summer this is not supposed to be happening"
