veggies and fruits

So my little guy hastried all the veggies and fruits (stage 1) I've been mixing each one with oatmeal for lunch and for supper just plain oatmeal. Now that he's tried everything now what do I do? Do I keep giving him the cereal with the stuff in it or can I give it to him separate? And how many times? I'm so confused. Lots of questions. Thanks ladies

sometimes i mix two veggies or two fruits together and give it to my daughter. I don't put cereal or anything in it. She likes it just fine.

I would try the fruits and veggies without the cereal-just to give him the whole taste if you will. I did my kids like 3 meals basically. Cereal with some fruit for breakfast,a veggie for lunch and both for dinner.

I dont give Kailyn cereal anymore - well, rarely if I make her foods too watery. But she hasnt had a significant amount of cereal since she was about 7 months old. IMO fruits and veggies are a better option. You can mix just about anything. Baby's taste palets arent as picky as ours are - so even combinations that make your stomach turn can be very tasty to a little tummy! Like papaya and green beans! lol.

You could also look at www.wholesomebabyfood.com for different foods you can offer as first foods and make at home. Homemade baby food has SO many more possibilities than jarred baby food - and a lot of benefits:it is healthier (fresh/no preservatives) and tastes better!
