ear piercing?

how many of your piecred your daughters ears around 3 months..and what do you guys think about it?

I am going to, I think it is the perfect time, that when my mom had my sis and I ears pierced!!!

I pierced both of my daughters ears as babies (one at 10 weeks the other at 3 months) and I plan to pierce this ones as soon as the doctor says it's OK. I had the ped. pierce them. I felt it was safer, more expensive, but safer. Besides they just look so cute with dainty little earrings in their ears!

I will not.

My first daughter ripped hers out after a year of having them. (she would get sleepy and her thing wsa to rub her ear and would do it in her sleep)
So I did not with me second daughter. will wait till she asks.

my other daughter decided at 2.5 to get hers done again and had no problems getting it

Part of me wanted to b/c I think it's cute but I decided that when my daughter is old enough to ASK me about it and understand that there's responsibility (and a little pain) involved, that we could talk about it/do it then. At three months it's just one extra thing for mom to take care of anyway. I figured if she wants to get it done a little later at leastI could use it as a responsibility teaching thing!

i've got 2 daughters 2 and 9 months and would never get there ears pierced i will wait and see if they want them done personally i don't like seeing babies with earings in but thats jmo

i Pierced my daughters ears whenever she turned 3 months! i have had no problems yet with it. She didn't even cry, i cried! I Got them done at walmart because its cheap and they have tons of experience with little babies!

i did it at 3 months *well the guy at the ear place did it*.. we got her bapitized the week after. she cried cause she wanted her bottle not because her ears. she liked it afterwards. her name is jade so we got a green color

I personally don't have a problem with it. We are waiting to get Lorelai's done though. My fiance wants her to make up her own mind if she wants them done or not.
