I don't think your sis meant it that way, I think she meant that most people will think you already have your stuff for girls, but if you have a boy they will want to get you "boy" things...I get people a baby gift either way, regardless if they had 10 girls I would still get them something special for the new baby.

I don't think she meant it that way but I also think it's kinda rude to say that 'if you have a boy then we can throw you a shower' - I've NEVER heard of someone that is pregnant only getting a shower because it's the first or a different sex than the rest! It should be a celebration of a new life completely seperate from rather it's a boy or girl! Boy or Girl - you should get a shower and it sounds like you just need to have a talk with your sister and let her know everything you said here. Good luck!
