how do i put oliver on a schedule? He will have days when he will sleep ALL DAY & stay up most of the night, and than he will have days where he will NOT sleep at all during the day only like 2-3hrs & sleep all night. And i just want to get it over w/ and try to start a schedule! anyone want to walk me through their schedule? give me some good tips?

It's hard to put them on a schedule before they are more active and social. Try to keep him up and nap/go to bed at the same time every day but Brycen really didn't get on a good schedule until 6 months old when he started crawling.

You should try to keep him up more throughtout the day. Try to put him down for naps and feed him at the same time each day

Yikes ! You stay up w/ him all night ? & then go to work ?

I wish I had some advice .. I really don't know how to go about that though. Ian went into his own schedule .. between 7-9 pm he gets tired and ready for his last feeding .. and sleeps til between 6-9 am . Then during the day .. he usually has one nice size nap .. 1-3 hours long & a couple little cat naps. Other than that , he's up playing .. eating .. whatnot . Try going for walks and stuff during the day , keeping him alert & up ? Do ya'll go places together during the day ? Good luckk .

Aidan started sleeping through the night at 5 weeks... we'd just first feed and burp him, start a bath around 9 with the Johnson's bedtime bath, lotion, put him in footie pj's and swaddle him up and he was usually out by 9:30 and would sleep till about 5:30-6:30... it was a little rocky at first but once he got used to the routine it's been a cake walk.. that was until he started teething, now some nights its screaming every 2 hours

Aidan's also been on a 4 hour feeding schedule since the hospital though so that helps a lot...

i started with a schedule when he started on solids. i would give him breakfast lunch and dinner at the same time no matter what, and the food gave him energy so he napped lass, and then after a while he gota bed time, and then a nap time. now he's got his own little routine.

try to keep him consistent in what you do.
