hello im also a new mommy to twin girls as of feb 27! i hope every thing is going good for you and your trying to get sleep as well! your lil man is adorable!
Complaint number 1: It is SO SO hard to get out of the house. Here is our schedule for trying to go somewhere.
I get showered and dressed
He poops and I change his diaper
I feed him and finish getting ready
He's pooped again
I change him AGAIN
I finish getting ready
He's hungry AGAIN
It takes hours
By the time his bag is ready and he's buckled in to his seat he's starved and crapped AGAIN
But I love him lol
Oh I know how you feel. I had a fall baby. It was way too cold to ever take him out. When Hunter was younger, Every time I would get him all dressed & ready to go HE'D POOP. I was so cautious of taking him out. I would have to wait til someone got here til I could run to the store because I didn't wanna get him sick. It's hard...but I love it. Now he's good about going places.
hello to both of you. your babies are beautiful!! i have a 7 month old daughter and i definitely don't know everything, but i have had quite a bit of time to learn a few things, so if you have questions, feel free.
and to comment on the getting out of the house thing... i TOTALLY know how you feel. i had my baby in july and it was so hot some days that we wouldn't leave the air conditioned house for days. beyond that, i know that when you do go out, it takes forever to get ready and go. i miss the days of just being able to grab my purse and go. now, it's get her diaper bag all packed up with extra clothes, diapers, wipes, blankets, bottles, formula, etc. AND get my purse and go. oh, and don't forget the baby! haha. also, i am recovering from a broken finger, so it's been really crazy trying to do just normal things, not to mention going out and carrying her seat around. foruntately my cast is off now, so my hand is free and it's wonderful! i feel closer to those grab-my-purse-and-go days now in some way! but i've heard it gets a little easier once they're a little older, though i'm really not sure how true it is. good luck!
it true that once they get older it gets easier. i have four and would say i definetly know how you feel. being prepared is key to being able to go out and just come to the reality that there may be a time when you migt have to leave where you are at and go home. my son is 5 weeks old and today is the first time we were able to get out and everthing went so smoothly.....yay.
