FL Mommies - Ant season?

posted 19th Jun
Seriously...am I the ONLY one who is having issues with ants in the house. They are tiny, annoying and everywhere! I don't think it's anywhere near an infestation but ugh! Anyone else?

i'm in NC and they are BAD here! we had red ants in the house and they were attacking my poor puppies! luckily my husband and i finally got rid of them. i vacuumed like 5 times in one day and my husband put this stuff on  the base of the house (on the outside) and we haven't had a problem since then. i can go look at what it's called if you would like me to?

Ants LOVE to come into the house! Are you noticing them more so in the bathroom?? Thats where I see I have those problems! They will come in ANY way possible! The ants your talking about are probably the same everywhere but basically they come in for two reasons. Water or they smell food(normally sweet stuff)!!! Make sure you keep ALLLL your food away and air tight! Also I like to keep ALL my drains closeed while Im not using them because they climb up them! I would get some ant spray and spray ALL of your enterances, garage, windows, vents bascially anything or anywhere they can come in! sucks but sometimes the spot they are coming in from isnt even visiable to you! You might need to get an exterminator to spray or check the problem if what i told you to try doesnt work!

UGH! When I lived in Fl those nasty lil ants were all over! So glad to be living in NY now. Get some of the little raid homes for them they are just sugar ants. Put them on your counters and such... should decrease the number tremensley. If not have someone come out and do around your house. Those pesky lil things are anoying.
