2 Questions (1 Formula, 1 stroller)

posted 18th Jun
My son acted like he had colicaftereatingSimilac Advance so I ended up giving him Soy and he loved it with no problems. Is soy uasuly the 2nd alternative to the Regualr formula or should I try a differnt kind before sticking with soy???

My second question is I want a stroller bigger then an umbrella stroller but smaller then a regualr stroller with ok sized wheels (not the cheap plastic ones that look like they'll break easy) that dosen't take up too much space.

Thanks to anyone who can help. I think I'll call my sons doctor tommorrow about the formula but it would be nice to hear your guys opinion. (I'M BORED)

I would probably try Similac Sensitive before staying on soy. That worked well for my baby. Technically, you need to talk to your doc before you switch to soy. Since you're going to the doc tomorrow, I would just talk to him about it then.

we use Enfamil Lipil at first and it made her poop hard and made her gassy as heck- we changed to Enfamil Gentlease Lipil which has 1/4 the amt of lactose in it- and it was and is great! as far as strollers- most of them DO have those plastic wheels and they really are WAY sturdier than they look- i had the same complaint when i saw them but my stroller goes through grass, dirt, gravel and stuff great!! The only ones i know that have rubber wheels are the jogging type strollers or maybe the strollers that cost upwards of $200.

I'd stick with the formula he likes until you talk to his doctor, I dont think its good for them to keep switching.

Stroller: I have a bunch of strollers. 2 large expensive ones (a bugaboo & a bumbleride queen b) both of which are impossible to pack up in my car (well not impossible, but difficult) I also have a chicco umbrella stroller thats lightweight, handles nicely, but unfortunately doesnt recline all the way which sucks since my baby is3 months. I got rid of my graco travel system, because it sucked, and seemed cheeply made and uncomfortable for my daugther to be cramped in the carseat when she could be enjoying the stroller.. i do miss the ease of clicking the seat into the stroller though, and we're going to barbados in september and i will again need a travel system, and ended up getting this stroller, and I LOVE IT!!!!! its small, lightweight, turns on a dime, can take a carseat to turn into a travel system.. and fully reclines! its called the "graco mosaic"
here it is!!! (i have it in red, with the matching red gracopedic, snug ride carseat)

Another reason I love it, is it looks so unique as a travel system, I get so many questions/compliments on it!!

my son had problems with similac advance so we switched to similac isomil advance and it solved the problem, but he also takes zantac because he has reflux issues but we only had to switch once.  ive also heard similac sensitive (orange can i think) is great, but its milk based and not soy based so if he was having a milk intolerance the sensitive wont be able to help much.

and i think your looking for a lightweight stroller, i love this one

No they sell it at Target & Walmart too. I bought my stroller at Target (but online, didnt see if it was in the store), and I bought the matching red and black carseat online... its such a great stroller carseat combo, i hope you get one, you will LOVE it!!

I breastfeed and bottle feed but i give my son soy formulas beacuse regular formula he just pucks it all up and then for the stroller i got a car seat and stroller combo from evenflo which is really nice the car seat snaps right in the stroller folds up really nice and fits really good in my truck on my car and its not cheaply made but its got a cheap price
