Lol... i just wanted to post about my "getting checked for dialation" experience. I am sooo glad I read a bunch of the horror stories on here! I went in to my appt. today dreading it. For me, it was NOT BAD AT ALL.Seriously, only slightly uncomfortable, but nothing to be so nervous about (again this is my experience only with this!) I didn't bleed at all either.
Iam 1 centimeter. Being that my husband has decided to become celibate for the last 3 months (hehe) I figured I wouldn't have anyprogression! (I hear that sex/his sperm can help you dialate and thin out)
Just thought I'd ease some nerves with my experience.

yeah i didnt have any problem with it either it was so easy. It never hurt to be checked untill i was already in labor then it hurts like hell but everything hurts like hell.

Yay for progress. My fiance and I had sex the entire pregnancy and it didn't help me much with dialating.
