Is my baby too small at 18 weeks?

We had our U/S Monday and my baby is measuring 3.4 to 3.9 inches. She should be measuring between 5.5 and 6 inches. The doctor would only tell me that she is not concerned right now. She would not indicate why my baby is so tiny......

Never read much on it.... but you could google Interuterine Growth Restriction. I think that makes the baby small..... but not sure.

Well it depends on how tall you are...if you are a short person and so is the baby's father then that could be the reason why.

Happened to my sis in law. All her kids had shorter limbs and its because she is short.

I am 5'2' and my hubby is more like 5'10. I was only 13 inches 5lbs at birth, but i did not expect her to be 2 inches too small when she should only be 6 inches right now.
