There are those who have never done anything wrong (on record) but sniff shit all day long....actually there are plenty of those.....plenty.

And not only that, a child exposed to drugs will most likely have some kind of side effects..wouldn't you want the child to have proper help from birth instead of the doctors playing a life long guessing game....Let the child get treatment and help from the very beginning? It's not about the person (the parent) it is about the child...

The MAJORITY are what matter most. The MAJORITY do not do anything like that. If they did anythign during pregnancy it would have shown up on regular bloodwork during prenatal visits. Nothing shows up then its uncalled for.

well just bc u might not do drugs while ur pregnant doesnt mean everyone else doesnt.... if a baby is born to a mother who does drugs, they aent going to stop just bc the baby is here and then what the kid is at the mercy of a drug addict whos always loaded... and if they are going to get abortion then maybe that would be better then doing drugs while their pregnant

How do you know that "the majority" does not do anything at all? I had one bloodtest done and that was to determine if I was pregnant or not....that was it...If I was a druggie, I could have abused drugs throughout my pregnancy without anyone ever knowing...

Just b/c you vote does not mean you have a say? what world do you live in..? So kill the kid instead??? I grew up with a abusive drug addicted alcoholic mother who didnt even get prenatal visits because she was on drugs. I have no medical problems related to that at all. My childhood sucked but I realize one thing. Living with bad parents was better then not living at all. I got myself out of that house when I could and now I have a amazing husband and great kids and never touched a drug in my life. Even if the kid has bad parents thats still better then not living. You are wanting to take away even the slightest chance that child will have a life at all.

If it means the child has a chance at life rather then being stuck in a dumpster to die or killed even before birth then yes. You want to protect "our future" but want to increase the abortion rate and increase the amount of babies killed at or shortly after birth? You want to protect "our future" yet kill any child who might have a bad parent and take away there chances all together? Requiring extra testing for a first time mother who is scared as it is will do just that!

Nebraska is one of the biggest meth head states.
I remember a couple years ago they bust about 15people over just one summer time period.
Its disgusting. My moms done that shit. I tell her i dont give a fuck if she does it. Just as long as shes not around me or my child. Its her body/brain shes ruining not mine. So she stopped doing it.
I know she use to also do it my entire child hood. Maybe thats why she cant even remember my first word.
Its sad what it does to you and your family. My friend went to jail and his cousin ended up with my friends gf. His cousin has been selling the shit out of the house.
The grandparents came down the other day and took the little boys they had. All it does is ruin familys. Its disgusting.
And yea they cant do anything. There would be a lot of parentless kids in the world if they could do something. And the state doesnt have enough room for them all.
I live in nebraska. I know how it is. The state wont take kids away from junkies but if your house isnt completely clean your kids are gone.
One of my friends lost her kids 2times already just because her house wasnt clean. But yet the junkie down the street still has their kids.
