GUESS WHAT?!?!?!?!

I went in for my 37 week appt today hoping my doctor would tell me that 'oh my gosh you're huge, let's get that baby out of there'. Well I am 2 cm dilated but that's it, no effacement. 'See you next week.' Bummer!!!

Well this afternoon I got a call from his nurse and she said that he'd forgotten I have gestational diabetes and that in the last 3 - 4 weeks I'd lost weight instead of gaining but between week 35 - 37 I gained 8 lbs. Yikes! He now wants me to go in tomorrow for an ultrasound to see if they can guess how much the baby weighs and they have me tenatively scheduled for induction on Monday the 23rd (my sister's birthday by the way)!!!!! I will finally get to meet my son and only 2 weeks early!!!!! I'm so scared but excited at the same time!!!
