haha, I know what you mean, I sometimes find myself saying things like "son of a pooper!" It makes me laugh at how our language skills went back down when we had kids sometimes.

yeah I need to realize that too, that he is just curious too. Sometimes I think I do put him in time out too quickly

Conner isn't in the biting phase yet, but he is in the pinching phase. It hurts so bad, he will walk up to us and just pinch our arms. Or he will walk up to me and to get my attention, slap me in the face!

I have to start potty training Conner soon, I am so nervous. I hope I do a good job at it, I know that it is a lot of work. How would you guys recommend getting started. We have yet to buy the potty, but I have been thinking about it for a little while.

We bought this e book and used it, we followed all the directions and Jace is potty trained for daytime and nighttime (he only wore underwear and a tshirt for three days) and after the 3rd day he got it. He had an occasional accident for the first 3months after. But really hasn't had much of a problem since. I am actually getting ready to potty train my 2 yr old with the same method.

Hey I may try that with Aiden. That sounds like it might work for him.

It worked great because it puts them in control ....there is no asking if they have to go potty and if your child is strong willed....it will work!!!! Jace caught on very quickly!!! PM me!

Alright first off, I am sorry I have not been active here today!!! I have had a crazy day. Anyway, all is well and I got the best news. My hubby wants to adopt my son Aiden.

I guess I better explain. Mason is not biologically mine but his mom passed away a couple of years ago and I guess I have just assumed the role of mom to him. I treat him jsut like my other kids and I know I am very prtective of him. Aiden is not biologically Kyle's so Kyle wants to adopt Aiden and he knows I want to adopt Mason so we might be doing this whole thing with adopt each others kids. I am so excited!!!

Welcome new mommas!!! I am off I got five boys in this house and they are currently occupied by a movie but that will be short lived.

Oh I love you LeAnn!! That is so sweet, I knew Kyle loved Aiden and you loved Mason and have been wanting you guys to legally blend together!!! You guys are so cute!!! I want another baby, but you know better than I do that I can't do that yet!

Hi everyone, just stopping in to see how everyone is doing... Conner is being a little fuss bucket right now. He is just whining about everything!! I will try pouring his juice for him and he will whine the whole time!! Argh it is driving me crazy! I tell him that he will go in timeout if he keeps whining and he stops... until the next thing he wants!!
On top of that, it is so darn hot out here!! My house is as hot as outside because our swamp cooler isn't working well.... I hate the summers here in NM! 

hey ladies I need sme help... I am currenly getting ready for a road trip about 8 hours to New Mexico. Do you all have any ideas as to what works well for occupying toddlers in the car? I was considering buying a DVD player BUT because gas is going to eat up most of our budget, I am not even going to atempt it. I was thinking some coloring books or something but then that might get messy. I know color wonder is awesome so I might do that. I might be missing a lot but any ideas are welcomed.
